KRAV MAGA 

Krav Maga is the fighting and self-defense system of the Israeli Defense Forces. The system was developed in Israel and refined on battlefields and in the streets. Krav’s practical approach to self-defense and military style combatives will teach you to defend yourself and your significant others. The system is based on instinctive movements that are easy to learn and remember. Rapid counter attacks and proven self-defense techniques are utilized that work in a variety of situations and are not dependent on a person’s size, height or gender.

“Krav is heavy on the martial and light on the art” – known for its focus on reality based situational training (e.g., carjacking, active shooter, kidnapping, sexual assault, public transportation, etc.). You will learn to effectively deal with violent and threatening situations utilizing hand-to-hand combat techniques, improvised weapons, your environment and by simple learning when it makes sense to run away from an attacker. Krav Maga is a martial arts system for the modern era. KMA offers a complete Krav Maga training system with belt testing through 2nd degree black belt.

Krav’s practical approach to self-defense and military style combatives will teach you to defend yourself and your significant others.  Come prepared to sweat!  Wear gym clothes and tennis shoes.

Sanuces Ryu Jiu Jitsu

Sancuces Ryu Jiu Jitsu is a style of American Jiu Jitsu founded by the late Grandmaster Powell.  Sanuces means “Survival by Simplicity”.  In Sanuces Ryu Jiu Jitsu you will learn standing joint locks, controlling techniques, close quarters striking, boxing, throwing, sweeping, wrestling skills, grappling, submissions, weapons defenses (including gun, knife, and stick), healing techniques and more. Sanuces Ryu represents a blend of the traditional Japanese Jiu Jitsu martial art with modern adaptations that provides our students with an effective system that will serve them well in any environment. The style is primarily focused on self-defense and characterized by its emphasis on street survival and simplicity. KMA offers belt testing and certification in Sanuces Ryu Jiu Jitsu up to 2nd degree black belt.

Yoga

Enjoy flowing, wave-like sequencing built around surya namaskara (sun saluatations). Postures are connected through the breath to cultivate heat, balance, flexibility, strength and endurance. These creative movements will challenge your mind and body and leave you feeling free and uplifted.

Cross Training (Rock Ready)

This is a 1 hour physically demanding high intensity group training session, which will help you achieve your fitness goals.  This class is similar to cross fit. Work outs take place indoors and outdoors. Expect many body weight exercises, unconventional methods of training, free weights, tires and kettlebells.  No two sessions are alike!  Anyone and everyone is welcome! Rock Ready has a serious following and is an important component of the KMA culture to help you create the strongest version of yourself — inside and outside!

SEMINARS 

AT KMA, our members and friends benefit from a variety of weekend seminars and guest instructors that help them achieve their self-defense and fitness goals and enhance their lifestyle. Most of our workshops are held on Saturdays and Sundays. They are often designed to reinforce techniques and practice situational drills (e.g., Multiple Attackers; Defense Scenarios: airplane, bus, parking lot, alley, restaurants; Krav Maga Fundamentals; Women’s Only Self-Defense; Defenses Against Weapons; Students Self-Defense; Home Invasion; Improved Weapons Defenses). We also hold workshops on nutrition, endurance athletics, climbing and outdoor adventure sports.
